The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has designed the Design Thinking & Innovation Management to equip learners to build a systems approach to innovation in products and services. This first-of-its-kind in India programme is developed in collaboration with the Laboratory for Innovation, Venturing and Entrepreneurship at IIM Kozhikode (IIMK LIVE), a business incubator and entrepreneurship development centre set-up with the support of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Develop your ability in driving three fundamental levers of strategic importance to any business - customer-centricity (design thinking), product innovation, and building a culture of innovation.
Understand the implications of digital disruption and the role of innovation
Identify and decide on the innovation opportunity to pursue
Familiarise with the different tools and techniques for design thinking
Enhance individual and collaborative skills in design-based problem-solving
Design, develop and implement an innovation product or service or process
Develop a system to formally manage and nurture innovation in a corporate setup
Exhibit leadership in managing such transformational but fluid undertakings

Participants who successfully complete all evaluation components with minimum pass marks and meet the requisite 75% minimum attendance criteria will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from IIM Kozhikode. Participants who are unable to clear the evaluation criteria but have the requisite attendance will be awarded a Participation Certificate.
